Round curved rectangle

Hello!

I am quite a beginner in Vectorworks and don't quite know how to do this.

I really need to do a curved edged rectangle which is approcimately 10 mm thick - empty inside.

All the corners are rounded.. mind that right hand corner.

Basically it would be rounded in all corners and then a wire mesh texture added. It is a shell for a shelving unit.

What would you guys suggest?

Thank you!!

Here is the image of side view!

Rounded Rectangle tool to create the profile shape, then extrude it, this will give you the solid figure with rounded corners.

then, the Shell Solid tool, click on the face of the shelf you want to be the "open" face, and then set the shell thickness to 10mm. It should hollow out the extrude the way you're looking for.

In that case, creating a normal rectangle, then extruding to get a box will get you the overall dimensions.

Then, you can use the Fillet Edge tool in the 3D Tools toolset and select all the pertinent edges, giving them a fillet all at once and not leaving a flat side.

If you have the time, take a look at the revamped Fundamentals Getting Started Guide, we removed the older simpler laptop example and went with a skate park, mainly to show off some of the raw 3D geometry editing features and we tried to cover a lot of the more obscure tools:
