BG
Is there something we are doing wrong? Referenced viewports frequently shift their position. The referenced crop stays where it is supposed to be, but the actual drawing moves to some random position, so the crop has to be repositioned over the shifted drawing position and then moved back to where is was. We had this occur is previous versions too. It's very frustrating, especially because it happens sporadically. Quote Link to comment
anton
we have had this same issue in some of our projects, by ticking the box 'ignore user source origin' (from within the layers referenced editing window, some of the shifted viewports seems to return to (almost) their original positions, but it's a bit arbitrary and doesn't work in all cases, there is a link here about this very same problem, maybe some help can be found here, https://techboard.vectorworks.net/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=198905 we are currently using 2015, but had the same problems with 2014 also, kind regards Quote Link to comment

AlanW
Hi, I had this issue where one of the xrefed drawing viewports moved and we found that we fixed it by resetting the 0,0 point back on the reference drawing that moved. and reopened the drawing or refreshed the viewport reference and it came back to the original position. Don't try moving the drawing back. Just make sure they all have the same 0,0 point. Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment
