Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted October 22, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 22, 2014 There is no "Limit" to the number of lighting devices. Performance with that many lighting devices is going to be dependent on the geometry and you may encounter some limits with the Generate Paperwork command but there is nothing preventing you from using that many. I would start in a clean blank file so you are not carrying any information or resources over from a template or previous version. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
While VW has no limit on the number of lights, I believe that OpenGL has a limit of 8. If you need more than that you will need to use one of the Renderworks rendering modes. Others do far more in lighting that I do and can speak better, but a drawing with 6000+ individual lights is probably going to render VERRRRRRRRY slowly. Quote Link to comment
