Josh Schulman
I've run into a problem today, I cannot get pdf files to import into VW. I use the import command from the File menu and the message I get is "Unable to import some or all of the document's pages." I even tried to import a pdf that I made using VW and got the same response. Thoughts? Is this a bug in 2015? Quote Link to comment
Jane Davis
Import PDF is working for me for a single page PDF - more details of what you are imported are needed Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted October 15, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 15, 2014 I made a single page and a multi page PDF in Acrobat and in Vectorworks and I am able to import them both without issue in 2015 SP1 on Win 8.1 and Mac OS X 10.9.5. If you can, post or send in the PDF that fails for you and we can test it here. Quote Link to comment

willofmaine
I'm having this problem tonight, and get the same message. I've previously imported PDFs into VW 2015 without a problem. Both single page and multi-page PDFs are failing to import. Was this resolved for you and, of course, if so, how?... Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Will - Sometimes it helps to open the pdf in Apple Preview, and export as pdf or print to pdf (or png if raster will do). The new file might import better. -B Quote Link to comment
willofmaine
Thanks, Benson! The problem started when I tried to import a 55-page PDF, which I thought might be the problem, 'til it persisted when I tried an unrelated single-page document. I shut my computer down for a while, and that actually seems to have resolved it; it imported the entire 55 pages no problem... Thanks again, Will Quote Link to comment
