Jeff B
Teeny-tiny little question, can anyone tell me where Help System Preferences is tucked away in the new Help system? First thing I always do is turn off "search term highlighting" - drives me crazy - but I can't find the button to do so in 2015. May I just say too, how much I'll miss having to update Adobe Air about every third time I use the help system - not. Thanks! oops, forgot to chnange the VW version in my signature Edited October 4, 2014 by Jeff B Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Hi Jeff! After you type in a search term and hit enter, the next screen will have a search field with your term entered, and right below that will be a switch for "Highlight Search Results" and another switch for "Show results that include all search words" hth mk Quote Link to comment
Jeff B
Thanks mk. What a dummy I can be, I had seen that button early on but then couldn't find when I went looking. Sheesh. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
I missed it the first time, too. And they couldn't have made it a brighter green or put it in a more obvious place on the page… Like you, I went looking for a preference… mk Quote Link to comment
