zoomer
I think that setting works really wrong. Is there really anybody out there who needs his light symbols shown in a final rendering ? And Display Always is the standard setting. I think this is wrong. You can see this by watching the Renderworks Tutorial Videos. Each chapter needs a hint, Display Light Objects is on and so we go to Renderworks > Settings > ...... The setting allows "Always, Never, only in Wireframe" only. I think that this is also wrong. It's neither related to display mode nor view orientation where I want to work on my Lights. I think it should be : 1. Light Symbols should never ever be displayed in any Renderworks Style (or even Hidden Line etc., and I can't imagine there need to be any option to overwrite this) 2. For any of the normal Working Modes like Wireframe, Shaded, OpenGL, etc. Light Symbols should be ON by default, with the option to hide them to concentrate on Geometry. BTW, same for Cameras ! This is even more important as we can't hide Lights by Classes as we do anywhere else, because this means to switch the lights OFF in rendering ! (At least for the sun in Heliodon) Which I think is wrong also. Quote Link to comment

0 Andy Broomell
Bump. We should be able to have light glyphs show up when in Wireframe and OpenGL but not in Renderworks styles. As it stands, this currently isn't an option so I'm constantly switching the setting back and forth. Quote Link to comment
