zoomer
I'ld like to have a visible Feedback which Layers/Classes are used and contain Elements and which dont. So used Classes Bold Text, unused Classes normal Text. f.e. : BEAMS DOORS FURNITURE ROOFS SLABS WALLS WINDOWS And it would be even nicer if used/unused could be optional separated by grouping the unused Classes under the used ones in an other alphabetical order. f.e. : BEAMS SLABS WALLS DOORS FURNITURE ROOFS WINDOWS Quote Link to comment

0 zoomer
Thanks again. Does not need to be bold text. Maybe filled by a (background) color or grayed text is nicer for the UI. Edited September 26, 2014 by zoomer Quote Link to comment
0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 26, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 26, 2014 Grayed makes sense, since red indicates broken references and I believe italic already indicates working referencing in general. Quote Link to comment
0 mchev
Another great option for the Sheets & Layers navigation palette would be a separator option within the list. This would allow breaking up the layer / sheet layer list into categories. See screen shot for "Sheets". My present method is to make a layer or sheet that is empty, so that the name of the layer / sheet is the separator. Edited September 26, 2014 by mchev Quote Link to comment
0 zoomer
Nice Idea. Please send this to Apple because I do sometimes the same in Finder to seperate Files But I think that's not an easy one to program and to interface. Quote Link to comment
Question

I'ld like to have a visible Feedback which Layers/Classes are used
and contain Elements and which dont.
So used Classes Bold Text, unused Classes normal Text.
f.e. :
BEAMS
DOORS
FURNITURE
ROOFS
SLABS
WALLS
WINDOWS
And it would be even nicer if used/unused could be optional separated
by grouping the unused Classes under the used ones in an other
alphabetical order.
f.e. :
BEAMS
SLABS
WALLS
DOORS
FURNITURE
ROOFS
WINDOWS
