VW 2015 Curtain Walls

Jim: Is there a way to create curtain wall/store front walls that include operable doors and windows? So far there has been no tool in VW that will do this. (I have my own workaround, but it is cumbersome.) I was hoping that the Curtain Wall tool would address this, but given that it is now integrated with the wall tool, that looks unlikely.

Doors and Window objecs insert into Curtain Walls just like they do into Standard Walls. The Curtain Wall framing will configure itself around them.

You checkmark the Curtain Wall object in their settings so they are created without perimeter frames. All of the remaining options will still be available.

You can also use the Edit Curtain Wall tool and choose edit panels from the toolbar. Then select a panel and use the context menu. There will be two options to insert a door or window directly into the selected panel. This will save the step of having to check the Curtain Wall object setting.
