Is this normal?

I have been playing around in 3D with walls and roofs. When I use the ?fit walls to object? tool the gable wall clips nicely to the underside of the roof slope but the wall to the eaves clips horizontally at its intersection with the roof?

Yes, that happens and works as designed, walls cannot have tops that slope inside to out.

So as a workaround you could create a wall with the Thickness of

the real walls length and as long as the thickness

Then it should slope well.

A little tedious to have to do that for each wall component again

I vote for Parasolid Modeling Core in Architectural elements. :grin:

This is a pain currently, and we'd vote strongly for this to be "fixed" along with the ability to have angled walls.
