JoshW
I created a curved custom stair that is not showing in 3d. Not in wireframe, openGL, renderworks, etc. Is this a known bug or should I be doing something differently? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 9, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 9, 2014 Does the same thing occur in a new blank document? if not, do you have Unified View enabled in the document you are seeing the problem in? Do any other objects appear in 3D in the current file? Quote Link to comment
JoshW
In a new document, a circular stair does show up in 3D. Unified View is enabled in the problem document. Other objects in the problem file do appear. https://tmsarchitects.sharefile.com/d/s4a0cf96d74d48629 There is a link for the file that is causing the problems. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 11, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 11, 2014 It looks like the stairs have a floor to floor elevation, but the top and bottom floors are set to the same floor, which gave the stairs a height of 0" in 3D. However when I attempted to correct it, the stairs vanished. Submitting it for review now. In the meantime I would use this procedure to move your geometry to a new document: http://kbase.vectorworks.net/questions/790/Layer+Import Then, recreate the stair objects. Quote Link to comment
