Kevin
Rendering in Open GL works fine until I pan the image. When panned, the image turns into a multi-hued series of parallel lines that reminds me of a Peter Max painting from the 70's. Another symptom is that the single image breaks into multiple images that are also garbled. Any ideas on what to do? Mac G4, OS 9.2, VW 9.5.2. Video card is ATI Rage 128 pro as supplied by Apple with ATI drivers that install with the OS 9.2.2. Quote Link to comment
Guest
What version of OS 9.2 do you have? You should be using 9.2.1 or 9.2.2 if not already. The problem is a refresh problem. You can double click on the pan tool to refresh the drawing. Also, you may want to restart the computer once every few days to clear out all the stored cache if you are not doing that already either. P Retondo
VW 9.5.2 has a bug that was never corrected which causes problems with OpenGL and the walkthrough tool (begins to display the kinds of artificats you describe, then crashes afer a minute or two of use). This problem was fixed in version 10.0. I would suspect that the pan tool is another victim of this bug. Quote Link to comment
Guest
The Pan tool isn't linked to the walkthru problem. Quote Link to comment
reverb
Why was this bug never fixed in VW 9.5.3? It was not a problem in VW 9.5.0 - It seems that the bug first occured in VW 9.5.2. Now users must upgrade their operating system in order to rectify the problem. Is this correct? Quote Link to comment
