willofmaine
How do I link Reference Marker objects to the drawings they reference (I assume it's a function of Automatic Drawing Coordination)? Thanks! Will Quote Link to comment
JoshW
I believe unless you are using section viewports and/or detail viewports you can't link the reference markers to a specific viewport. I would love to be corrected if I'm wrong. I'm pretty sure this has been put on the wish list, maybe Jim could confirm? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted July 8, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted July 8, 2014 You can not at the moment, but that has been on the wishlist for some time now and you can probably expect it sooner rather than later. Quote Link to comment
PeterT
Couldn't you use the VW Hyperlink tool to accomplish what you want? If you create a new Hyperlink and just use the text symbol as your link, then change the text to a few blank characters, you can then place this blank symbol right on top of you reference marker. Then when you command click the link, it will either open a file, activate a Saved View or activate a Sheet Layer depending on how you set the prefs. I just made one of these, put it over my detail reference marker, and when I command click it, it opens my Detail Sheet. Quote Link to comment
