Create Objects from Shapes

Is it possible to set the default slab style for create objects from shapes or does vectorworks just pull the first one in the resource browser?

Should this be a wish list item?

Looks to me like it ALWAYS creates an unstyled slab, not even picking one of the styles at all. There doesn't appear to be any way to do it in one step either, as for converting geometry to Slab objects, you aren't offered the choice to "Show Properties Dialogue" as with some other objects. The user always has to convert geometry to slab, then manually change the slab style after via the OIP.

A wishlist item indeed, submitting it now.

I have some custom slabs styles that I have created in my file. So it seems as though it is just pulling the first one from the list.

Another method is to store your custom slab styles as Favorites, then once you've run the "Objects from Shapes" command to create the Unstyled slab, just double click on one of the styles in your Favorites and voila!

I should still be able to just create the slab style I want from step one though.
