wyldscape Posted June 19, 2014 Share Posted June 19, 2014 Hey guys, my reference file is a building with solid black for walls, when I switch the visibility of this reference to grey the wall fill disappears and turns into outlines only, very annoying as I want the building to be a lighter colour but retain the black fill of the walls. Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted June 19, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 19, 2014 You should be able to get that effect by altering the opacity of the referenced layer instead of switching it to grey. This is done in Tools > Organization > Design Layers, selecting the referenced layers, then clicking Edit and altering the Opacity setting. Should maintain fill attributes but go lighter and semitransparent. Quote Link to comment
