Benson Shaw
3d contours appear to float above their assigned z values. Contour labels show the correct values. This is a simple DTM made from 2 rectangular 3d polys. Larger one z=0, smaller one z = .5". The "float" is visible if DTM 3d view is set to 3d Contours and/or if Show 3d Contours is enabled in settings. Did I miss a setting? -B Edited June 18, 2014 by Benson Shaw Quote Link to comment
Dillon
I'm guessing its a VW error, not a setting. I've seen similar results where the open GL rendering doesn't align with the object. Have you tried Renderworks rendering? Restarted? Copied the object into a new file or new workspace template? The other day, I had a DTM that showed the correct contours in wireframe, but when I rendered it, VW showed the previous iteration of the site model (different site mods, completely different contours). Re-rendering didn't fix the problem. Updating the site model didn't fix the problem. Eventually I went into the graphics properties and changed from triangulated contours to triangles back and forth and VW finally rendered the right contours. Dillon Quote Link to comment
