Applying images

Recommended Posts

If you can apply a solid colour fill to the object(s) in question then the image should also appear. When I played around with this new feature I used a rectangle as my test object. I don't recall having to render at all, like you would expect if using 3d solids. Possibly the object is not a closed form?

I'm on a pc.

When I apply the image to a 2d object, the image appears without problem, but when I extrude that object, the image dissappears. In 8.5.2, your images were applied as textures, but this is not the case in 10. Is there a way to ignore the image function and continue to import images as textures (seeing as that's what the most of the imported images are used as anyhow)?

Thanks.
