One would think, that I'd wise up and only use the command on the correct type of object. But after at least 25.000 instances, I guess, I have to conclude, that I will never learn.
Here is a different, much more constructive warning:

I get this all the time too, but her I can choose to just hit enter, and the program will give me what I want.
I wish that I would get a similar warning with the tapered extrude command ? like "Would you like to automatically change all objects to a screen aligned layer plane?"
