Yu_
I did some curves but there r some angles within them..it looks fine when final rendering but i need to export it into EPS it looks bad in wireframe, how can I smooth them ? THX Edited April 25, 2014 by Yu_ Quote Link to comment
Elite Exhibits
Look for the 2d Conversion Res ... in the VectorWorks Preferences - set it to a higher setting ... Peter Quote Link to comment
Yu_
THx Peter But it's same, i probably used the wrong tool in the beginning so,I'm looking for another tool to amend it, such as the tool filled these angles into a better curve do u know any about this? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted April 25, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 25, 2014 You would need to increase the conversion res before creating the object, yes. Or, you may be able to use Modify > Poly Smoothing. Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Without seeing the file I would guess they're 3d objects. How were they created? You could try adjusting Preferences>3D>3D Conversion Resolution. If they are extrudes it should help. I have had trouble with Extrude Along Path objects looking like this. Also some objects generated by many layers of solids operations. I have recently seen issues like this with NURBS objects imported from Rhino as well. Kevin Quote Link to comment
Yu_
ys, it's 3d object 3D Conversion Resolution works! the angle looks smaller than before I used freehand tool to do it, I should try NURBS actually! Quote Link to comment
Yu_
But why even I set working plan , the NURBS still not in the same plan expect the first NURBS in the right place? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted April 25, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 25, 2014 It is normally easier to draft on a flat plane with the Polygon or Polyline tools instead, then Convert the geometry into a NURBS curve afterwards. Quote Link to comment
