Hi Martin,

Many landscape professionals have used VectorWorks for years to produce all of their contract deliverables. VectorWorks 8.5.2 contains most of the features that Landmark combines to produce it's automated solution, such as Layers, Classes, Sheets, Records, etc. However, with Landmark, you are not required to understand these features, nor do you have to improvise your own working method. Landmark is our professional quality offering to individuals in the Landscape industry.

Still, I would answer your question by saying that there were several landscaping-specific tools in VectorWorks 8.5.2. Specifically, these included a preliminary version of the Digital Terrain Modeler that comes in Landmark and Architect, a basic data import feature, a property line tool, and several resource files with quite a few plant and site symbols.
