nic
hey again - so full of questions today apparently to Export an Image File you need a special component/version of Quicktime for it to work..and also, apparently, theres a way to get that component through something to do with the Animation tool and getting that to download what you need....or something. but does anyone have the accurate instructions on how to do this? I have VW 9.5.1 on PC and basically when i go Export > Image File is doesn't do anything at all. always, nic. Quote Link to comment
simtav
nic this is what happens when you don't have Quicktime installed correctly. If you download the latest version (QT6 at present) from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/qt/ you should be fine, just make sure when installing you choose "custom installation" and check ALL boxes. Guest
QT 4 and previous versions had the necessary components for VW installed by default. As of QT 5 and QT 6, these components are left out of the typical install. When installing QT 5 and 6, you should use the Custom install option. After specifing this type of install, the following dialog box allows you to specify the components you are going to install. To be on the safe side, selecting all the components by clicking on Select All will install everything avaialble for QT. Once the installation is completed, simply restart the computer and launch VW. The import and export functions should be back in working order. Quote Link to comment
