nic
hi everyone when i installed VW9.5.1 on my computer it decided to make my default font one called "Architecture" (and for dimensioning it's "Wingdings" or something crazy) but it turns out that it's basically unreadable and I can't read my resources palette nor anything on my title blocks. anyone know how to set the default font? thanks heaps, nic. Guest
To change the default font - Make sure nothing is selected. Go to Text>Font and select a Font. Do the same for size. When creating a text block, the text should read using the above setting. Dimensions are setup to use the default font as well. To change dimensions and text objects already in the document, select the objects and change the text to a different font. Quote Link to comment
nic
Katie, Thanks, that worked for when I created a new text block. But my Resources Pallette (and a couple of other things) still defaults to the unreadable font; even after rebooting the computer. Any ideas? nic. Quote Link to comment

Guest
Nic, Are you referring to the words in the title bar of the Resources Palette and other Palettes that have text such as the OIP -- the word Resources is too small to read? Or are you referring to objects on the drawing that have text in them are too small to read ? Please clarify for further assistance. Quote Link to comment
TiTaNiuM sAMuRai
KT: He's referring to the menu text and titlebar text, I believe. Odd, though, since I've never been able to do an application specific font setting like that. System-wide, sure (Control Panel -> Display -> Appearance), so what version of Windows are you using? Please say XP. Quote Link to comment
