ChadL
Is there a way to setup my Sheet Layer so the Page is laid out Landscape, but it can print Portrait? The way my plotter works it kind of backwards from how My screen views it. Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Chad, The easiest way to do this is to define a custom page size and reverse the L & W dimensions. Portrait and Landscape don't actually relate to a page's proportions all they do is rotate the page 90 degrees. Kevin Quote Link to comment
ChadL
That is fine, except I am looking for a way to do it without having to add custom page sizes to everyone in my offices computers. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted April 3, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 3, 2014 If that is the case, you may want to look further into why the plotter does not print at a proper orientation. What is the make and model? Quote Link to comment
ChadL
Never thought about that. It is a HP Designjet T790 44in Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Question: are you certain you have the very latest driver installed?? Quote Link to comment
ChadL
I just checked and updated them. I'm going to wait until the next time I need a plot though before I test print. Quote Link to comment
PeterT
If you are using an HP Driver, there should be a "Rotate 90?" check box in the Finishing tab of the Printer Features in the Print Dialog Check or uncheck this box as desired and save it as a print preset. This will rotate the printed page despite what you have chosen for orientation in the Page Setup. Quote Link to comment
