DianaK
I'm doing lighting symbol maintenance for my symbol library and I'd like for certain symbols to continue to count in the automatic instrument summaries, but not translate to Lightwright, like boom bases and C-stands. I was wondering if there is any kind of device type, or hard to find setting, or anything I could employ to achieve this. Edited March 7, 2014 by dianak Quote Link to comment
DianaK
workaround chosen: At the moment i'm creating a new record format with just the item name, and a special worksheet that is meant to look like an extension of the instrument summary too, with counts and symbol images, making these symbols use that new record instead of a light info record. Then placing that in my key below the instrument summary. I just have to remember to recalculate it regularly. Quote Link to comment
SamIWas
Are your boom bases and C-stands inserting as lighting devices? Do they need to for any reason? If not, you should be able to insert them as straight symbols and they wouldn't export to lightwright. Quote Link to comment
