JoshW Posted March 5, 2014 Share Posted March 5, 2014 Does anybody know if there is a way to tag only specific doors in certain views? I have an overall floor plan on which I wish to tag all of the unit entry doors and corridor doors, then on a large scale plan of the units, I want to tag all of the doors within the units. Only I don't want the unit entry door to have a tag in this viewport? Is this possible with vectorworks? Would I need to use classes for this? Quote Link to comment
Majic Posted March 6, 2014 Share Posted March 6, 2014 Sure. Yes, use classes. By default, doors tags are set to the Door-Spec class, I think. Click the Settings button in the OIP to change it; select ID tag from the list on the left, and choose another class for the Tag in the center of the pane on the right or create a new class, then set the appropriate classes visible or not, as you wish, in your viewports.
