Hippocode Posted January 31, 2014 Share Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) Has anyone succeeded in creating a rectangular constant spiral within a path based object ? The best I could think of was duplicating the path inside using a static distance untill it fails, using the vectors of each duplicate as new possible coordinates. This works for most "simple" 2D objects as long as the order of each vector is the same between the duplicates and the path. When using other disformed positions these change sometimes and the code obviously fails . Maybe someone has a better approach ? I'd like to use a controlpoint as a start position. Image attached.
