zeroInf
Hello! I'm going quickly at questions : Why vectorworks open UDP port (6000) and sometimes for few second open other 2/ports (like 574?? ) Second question is : It is possible to use NetRender from Cinema4D seen that Vectorworks uses the rendering engine CineRender? Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted January 28, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 28, 2014 The ports it opens are it renewing its activations/checking for updates during use. You can reduce these events by going to Tools > Options > Vectorworks Preferences > Session, then setting "Check for updates" to Never and "Error Reporting" to Send Nothing. As for the second question, you can Send to Cinema4D and use its NetRender capabilities, but you can not yet utilize NetRender clients via Vectorworks directly. (I have put in a wishlist request for this as it would be awesome. I have dozens of extra machines sitting around that I'd love to put to some use.) Quote Link to comment
