Mat Caird
I'm not as stupid as you may think....so bear with me on this. A lot of PIO's have a field 'DO NOT EDIT'. Well what's that field for? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
matto
The "do not edit' Fields in a plugin are basicly just way for the person who wrote the plug in to store information between uses of the plugin. so if you edit it you never know what the result may be. Quote Link to comment
Alexandre Villares
On VectorWorks 10 there is a way for programers to hide a parameter, so these "do no edit" fields will no longer show. (Each Obj. Info field is a parameter stored in a hidden record tha has the same name as the PIO) On the same topic, out of curiosity, what kind of hidden variable would you be inclined to store on a PIO parameter between regenerations (PIO redraws) ?
