Guest
Any of civil engineers have a template for truck turning radius, specially a 30 ft truck? I have been searching in the web for ages, I can only find semi-truck. Anyone??? Quote Link to comment
FRED JOHNSON
What you are looking for is the turning radius for an SU30 (garbage type truck) try the refuse collection services on the web or manufactures of this type of truck. Years ago I had a full set of templates which, I believe, came from a traffic engineer. HTH, fjjRA Quote Link to comment

Marc Pitman
You should get your information from the AASHTO "A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets", 1994. A web link to the info you want may be found at this source: http://manuals.dot.state.tx.us/dynaweb/coldesig/rdw/@ebt-link;pt =17966?target=%25N%15_18210_START_RESTART_N%25 [This message has been edited by Marc Pitman (edited 08-01-2001).] Quote Link to comment
Guest
Thank you, for the web site. However, I should have been more specific. I am trying to determine the turning radius in reverse of a 5t truck or parking in loading bay area in minimum space. If you know any site that would have such a template it would be great. I have been searching for this for a long time. thanks again Quote Link to comment
