Wall End Cap - Clip Mode

Using VW 2012, the Wall End Cap Tool is straightforward and generally works. Imagine though a window opening though where you want the interior materials and the exterior materials to wrap and meet at the jamb.

After the first wrap, one component wraps beyond the jamb so I commence to use the Clip Tool. This though does not work thus this question.

The Clip tool only clips components on the straight face of the wall before it's been wrapped around the end. A confirmation of this would be appreciated. If this is so the tool is only partially working.

I added an image including a small 2D poly that I assume I will have to use given that the Clip Tool is only partially functioning....
