Kevin McAllister
Can anyone tell me what's going on here? Top image is fine - wireframe mode while editing a symbol. Bottom image has a crazy repeat of the symbol contents - OpenGL mode while editing the same symbol. Kevin Quote Link to comment
Teresa Hull
I had a similar issue a few days ago. I had to redraw it. Quote Link to comment
Elite Exhibits
I have noticed this Bug for some time. If you are Editing inside a Group or inside a Symbol, and Rendered (Open GL) then the oddities start. The hint at this is a shape that appears to be sliced through by an imaginary plane. Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted October 30, 2013 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 30, 2013 (edited) I get the same results when I open your file directly, however it works fine when all geometry is copied out and pasted into a new document, though the file's history seems to have elements from as far back as 12.5. Was this document originally made with that version or is it possible you have a template file that dates from that era? As a test, if you use this procedure: http://kbase.vectorworks.net/questions/790/Layer+Import To bring all the geometry/design layers into a new blank document, not from a template, what occurs?
