OK - why are none of the Vectorworks libraries converted to 2014

None of the non-default resource files seem to be converted to VW 2014. We have to open them as a file to get them converted rather than have them available in the resource browser. This is just shoddy.

Are you referring to the VSS Libraries? Because you have to chose either the 2013 or 2014 versions.

If you mean the ones that used to install by default with the Vectorworks installer however, they are now added this way:

On a related note, I try to install all of the libraries following the instructions. I get the "Starting Install" text and nothing ever happens after that. I've been stuck using the old libraries since 2014 was released because of this.

I've followed the instructions by double-clicking, dragging into a window, and dragging onto the application icon. Same problem each time.

Any tips?

If you have already patched Vectorworks 2014 to SP3 and are still having those problems, make sure to contact tech support at tech@vectorworks.net and they can get you sorted.
