bicameral2
is there a way to delete an object's history? is seems, when an object gets complicated with several transformations, it retains those histories, and slows my computer down. can i delete those operation histories once i'm done modeling an object? Kevin McAllister
Use Convert to Generic Solids in the Modify Menu. It will delete the history of most 3D objects. KM Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 30, 2013 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 30, 2013 This video (if a little dated) covers the process as well: http://kbase.vectorworks.net/questions/811/Generic+Solids Quote Link to comment
Jim Smith
I often save an iteration of a project in my OLD DRAWINGS folder before I convert an object to a Generic Solid. I've taken to doing this because on more than one occasion I've had to recreate an object's geometry because of site or client changes. Quote Link to comment
