ChrisA
Hi Any ideas why, when I print, my sheets they are offset so that the right and bottom boarders fall off the page. I am also curious why, when I print, I not only get the border that is part of my title block but the page boundary as well. Thanks Chris Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 23, 2013 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 23, 2013 If you use the Move Page tool (found by clicking and holding on the Pan tool icon in the Basic palette) do you see that the page is aligned properly? If you export to PDF, do you see the same issue, or is it correct? Quote Link to comment
ChrisA
When it is in a PDF it is fine and when it it is in the window of the printer options Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 23, 2013 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 23, 2013 If that is the case then the problem usually lies with the printer or with the printers configuration. Make sure to follow the steps here to create a custom page for that printer: http://kbase.vectorworks.net/questions/800/Page+Setup The default ones sometimes cause issues like you are experiencing. If problems continue, then the next steps would be checking for printer driver updates (uncommon for OS X) and/or updating printer firmware, steps for which you can normally get from the printer manufacturer. Kevin McAllister
Chris, Are you printing from a design layer or a sheet layer? If its a sheet layer, it sounds like the sheet size in your document is bigger than the page/paper size available with your printer. If your page boundary gets moved you can always reset it by double clicking on the Move Page tool in the tool palette. That will reset the page origin to 0,0. Kevin Quote Link to comment

ChrisA
that did the trick. The default margins in the printer settings were shifting everything over and off the page. I change them all to zero. Cheers Quote Link to comment
