AlanW Posted April 16, 2015 Share Posted April 16, 2015 One thing to note when creating the Displacement map in black and white is, the white parts of the image are influenced 100% by the displacement and the black parts 0%. so the graduations in greys between the black and white are affected by percentages between 0 and 100% depending on their shades of grey.
