How to convert a circle to a plant edge

I would like represent the canopy of a tree by drawing a circle or a shape and then converting it to a more symbolic somewhat random rough edge. Is that possible? If not, are there any suggestions?

Assuming you have Landmark...

Select the circle or any other shape

Landmark > Plant Line... > select your parameters

You can apply it as many time as you want to a shape. It takes a little experimenting with the settings to grok what they do. Once you get it, it's pretty fun.
