Guest
Fred, If you stay with the same industry series product you are currently using, I can't think of anything that you would lose. You will gain alot more features as tools, commands, speed, etc. There is a new Resource Browser which takes a little adjusting to, but it's not a big hurdle. It'll take about 10 minutes to get used to it, but then you'll love it more than the one in VW 9. You can now see a picture of the symbol, hatch, texture, etc in the Resource Browser that you are either importing or have already imported into your drawing. You can edit, rename, delete simply by right clicking the object. Double clikcing on an object in the RB makes that symbol active. You can apply textures to an obj by selecting the obj in the drawin, click on the texture in the RB and right click, select apply. It's much much much easier now. VW 10 runs just fine under OS 9 in conjunction with the Carbon Lib exteions needed since VW 9.5.0. [ 10-11-2002, 04:05 PM: Message edited by: Katie ] Quote Link to comment
FRED JOHNSON
Thanks Katie, as usual you have answered my question. I intend to upgrade as soon as possible. Quote Link to comment
FRED JOHNSON
Just wondering what kind of performance I can expect using vwa10 under OS9.x.. are there any features I would lose...how does the interface appear onscreen. I want to upgrade vwa but OSX has no great appeal for me at the moment. Quote Link to comment
