RAM
Who's bright idea was it to stick a cursor arrow on the full screen cursor and make it so I can't remove it. The arrow is one of the things I want to avoid by using the full screen cursor. Change isn't always for the better folks. Sometimes things don't need improving. Quote Link to comment
Guest
The full screen arrow is a preference you can turn off and on. To turn it off, go to File>Preferences>VectorWorks Preferences. Under the EDIT tab is "Full Screen Cursor". Remove the checkmark from this to turn it off. This is on page 2-10 in the VW 10 User's Guide, and 2-15 in the VW 9 User's Guide. This setting is not turned on by default. Someone may have gone onto your computer and turned that preference setting on. [ 10-11-2002, 09:01 AM: Message edited by: Katie ] Quote Link to comment
ionw
Katie, I think what was meant is this. If you turn full screen cursor on, you get both the "crosshairs" of the full screen cursor and a normal "arrow" cursor leading the crosshairs along. I think what is being requested is that one only sees the crosshairs w/o the "normal" cursor. Quote Link to comment
Guest
VW 8, VW 9 and VW 10 ALL have an arrow with the full screen cursor lines. On both the Mac and PC. Is there a previous version or platform where you believe this was not the case? Quote Link to comment
