Guest BillV
Has anyone encountered issues with instability when using the latest Wacom Tablet with VW 2012? The issue is mainly one of "jumping" suddenly to another location on the drawing after selection of an object and regular crashing of the file. This is being used on a brand new Imac with OS 10.8.3 The Tablet command in the Tools Menu is not ticked. Quote Link to comment
bcd
Are you using the pen or mouse? There are issues with the left mouse button on the Wacom Intuos, unrelated to VW. Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
All is fine with my configuration, although it is different somewhat. Wacom Intuos5 Touch with driver 6.3.6w3, touch turned off, VW 2013, OSX 10.8.4. Make sure your Wacom driver is up to date. Make sure touch is off if you're using the mouse or pen. Yoginathaswami
Aloha, Bruce: What do you mean by "touch is turned off?" Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
Some of the Wacom tablets are touch capable, meaning that you can use one or multiple fingers to control the mouse. I use one of these and use two fingers for scrolling. Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
Aloha, Bruce: What do you mean by "touch is turned off?" BillV said they had the latest Wacom Tablet. I assumed it was an Intuos5 Touch. The Wacom driver is supposed to automatically disable touch when the mouse or pen is used, but it's flaky, so when using those input devices it's best to turn off "touch." Quote Link to comment
Diamond
I have had this issue. It occasionally happens with the latest driver (6.3.6). From recollection, the way I got around it was to go back to the 6.3.1 driver. Quote Link to comment
Guest BillV
Thanks Diamond we will try this. Quote Link to comment
Assembly
Bill. I have 3 set ups with wacom tablets of different ages. I found it is not a problem on my OS10.7 machines laptop. It is on OSX10.8+ This could also be due to newer driver. If you find a solution please tell us. Quote Link to comment

knickers
I'm not having issues with the cursor jumping around, but I have set the top butting on the stylus to scroll, which works fine on my mac, but on my PC EVERYTHING disappears, and I have to minimise and then maximise the VW window to get everything back on screen. If anyone has a workaround for this, I'd be very happy to hear it! Cheers, Nick Quote Link to comment
