Recreate a Design Layer Perspective View From a Viewport

I had a saved design layer view and I accidentally deleted it. I have a viewport that has the same view, and I have backup copies of the file, although I've done extensive work on the file since deleting the saved perspective view. Is there anyway to recover that view?

I am pretty sure you can (re)create a saved view from a viewport by doing the following:

Control click on the viewport and select "Edit design layer"

When in edit design layer mode go to the organization palette / saved views, and press the "new" button at the bottom.

I think this will do the trick.

Beautiful! You have to click on the border, or be in the edit viewport annotations mode to see the edit design layer command.
