Haydenovative
Hey Gang! Just wondering if anyone has achieved making a projector project on to a wall surface rather than a screen. We are being asked more and more to represent this for clients and we have had some success with transparency of the screen surface looking similar, but showing the lumps and bumps of the wall would be great. Thanks Guys! Quote Link to comment
michaelk
I've gotten away with this old trick. Basically make your own color gobo, put a light behind it, and a box to mask it. mk Edited June 28, 2013 by michaelk Quote Link to comment
mjm
Yes, I do exactly the same, but use a spotlight fixture and deploy the shutters as needed... Attached you'll find the previz (done back in 2008), the image pro gobo template derived from the previz process and a snap from the show Quote Link to comment
Haydenovative
That is exactly what I want to do, I've downloaded your file to see how its done, but I'm running 2012 and I cant open it. Any chance you could save a backwards compatible version for me? Quote Link to comment
