mjsmithvt
Does anyone know if you can create tapered walls in VW? Or can you create walls from a polygon? I know you can create walls around a polygon, but can you turn a polygon or an extruded polygon into a wall? I am working on a project with some odd shaped existing walls and I can't figure out a way to create a few of the walls without creating a polygon and extruding it. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I am using VW 2013 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
VW Walls are always the same thickness and rectangular. If you want something that is like a wall but not rectangular use your polygon and convert it to a pillar. (AEC Menu, Pillar). You can then use the Wall Join tool to connect your other walls to the Pillar. 1 Quote Link to comment

barkest
Another method is to use a wall feature (AEC > Create Wall Projection). With this method you can then take advantage of the various wall parts which may be a good way to go if you need to texture each side of the wall separately. Quote Link to comment
