John A
Vectorworks newbie here. Is there a simple way to slope a sidewalk from point a to point b in 3d? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
J. Wallace
You can use a pad (site modifier) and place a slope on it. This works well. The other option you could try is using the roadway tool which will allow you to set different elevations at each station point. Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
J. Wallace is right, if you are working with a Site Model. If you are just free modeling the site then you can use a Roof Face for this. It is made to slope in one direction. You can also use a simple Extrude, rotated as desired (go to a frontal view and use the Rotate command). Quote Link to comment
John A
Thanks J Wallace, I got the slope to work with the site modifier/ pad routine. But now I can't get the surface to render either in 3d or plan view. Am I overlooking something? Quote Link to comment
