Christiaan
I've created a wall recess over a door (so as to omit the blockwork over the door and allow for a steel beam, while continuing the external wall insulation across in front of beam). Problem is when I then insert the door into the wall the hatches show through in top plan view. Any way around this or suggestions for modelling this differently? Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
Paradoxically if I set the door to "no break" in wall it removes the part of the wall I've recessed from top plan view. But it still shows the part I haven't recessed. In any case this would obviously not work in 3D. Quote Link to comment
Bas Vellekoop
Not using a wall recess, but you kan make a new symbol with the correct walk hole and correct 2d representation? Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
Thanks Buzz, that's probably the only option. I don't think I've ever successfully used the wall recess and projection feature for anything. Quote Link to comment
P Retondo
Christiaan, have you tried setting the recess cut line to a height within the recess (should be in the OIP)? Normally, you have to adjust that height to get the recess to show as a cut in the wall. Quote Link to comment
Dieter @ DWorks
Wall recesses just do not work. Use a symbol instead, you can do so much more with it. Quote Link to comment
