Kizza
I'm working on some projects for another design studio who have supplied me with their title block. On examining their titleblock, it appears that there are no text records associated with the titleblock. Firstly, I'm wondering how the workflow goes with this setup - would they dupliacte and edit the symbol for each drawing rather than enter the relevant sheet info in the OIP? Secondly, how would one handle multiple titleblocks within VW? Would you have all titleblocks i.e. A3, A4 etc saved within the template or can you import saved titleblock symbols as needed - Import Sheet layers command perhaps? Currently I have one A3 sheet layer saved within my template but I would like to include other sizes and sheet orientations, as well as the other studio's sheet layer and sizes etc. Thirdly, more of a general question, what is the difference between Issue and Revision? Kizza
Think I've solved item 2. Create a separate VW file with all your titleblock symbols (including any differing orientations) within it and save to your user library. And do the same for the other company's titleblocks but in a different VW file. Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner
Here in the States you may ISSUE a Construction Set (as opposed to a Permit Set or whatever) and then later create a REVISION to that Construction Set Quote Link to comment
