carpalmer
working on upgrading my computer... looking at quad cores, but is VW13 multi threaded? How much sense does a Solid State Drive make? I do fairly "heavy" drawings (150MB) and often use RENDERWORKS and ARTLANTIS... thanks for insight Carpalmer Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
SSDs make a lot of sense. They save a bunch of time when it comes to opening starting up, opening apps and saving files. Apple has their 'Fusion' drive, which is the best of both worlds. VW 2013 isn't mutli-threaded but the RW part of it is + hidden line render on Windows. Not 64-bit though so I routinely run out of memory and have VW crash on me once I have a few renders in a file. Quote Link to comment
