slower educational watermarked documents?

Recommended Posts

Are VWX files that are watermarked with "Vectorworks Educational Version" slower than non-watermarked files?

I usually don't have any problems with small files (this one is 13.3mb). I've got 22gb of RAM and a 4gb GPU, but I've got a file that's watermarked, and it just seems slow as hell-- even when I've got no PDF's or classes/layers on that have a lot of points.

What gives?

I have not found educational watermarked files to be slower.

Probably some geometry in the drawing that vw doesn't like.

Beware of the seat symbols that a lot of educational users in theater departments like to use - especially if they are from an older version. They can really bog down a drawing.
