Section Viewports are not staying HL rendered during Editing Anno...to the best of my knowledge I did not change any settings...but now that I think of it...I did get an opening msg that my preferences were being reset or something like that...what is the setting to keep the VP rendered during Anno-edits? Thanks Quote Link to comment

Thanks I presume it is "Save viewport cache", but why wouldn't it default to being checked... Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
The default is OFF, which I agree is not very good, at not for me. I'm sure others have their own opinions... Quote Link to comment

An interesting side issue I noticed, was snapping dimensions to the window actual jamb size...could see them when it was unchecked, but not when it was checked and couldnt snap to them - just the outwardly visible lines of the window frame, which doesn't work well when you want to dimension actual window sizes I had to draw a jamb size dashed rectangle in front to dimension correctly. Is that normal, I mean is that how one snaps dimension to jamb sizes in elevation anno mode one should be able to snap to those 4 corner points, no. Quote Link to comment
