Bryan G.
I can get the value of lines on a worksheet but I am not able to get polylines on a worksheet. I am using the =Length(t=line) Function. Anyone got an idea? Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Polylines don't really have lengths. They have Perimeters. Try =PERIM(T=Polyline) hth mk Edited January 31, 2013 by michaelk Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Polylines do have a height and width. But no length. PERIM (I believe) returns the sides that are visible. Changing sides to visible or invisible will change the PERIM value. hth mk Quote Link to comment
Bryan G.
yeah. thanks for the reply I just realized that was my problem. thanks for the reply. On a side not I noticed that while creating a report on hardscape area the footprint perimeter reports back an incorrect value. Am I also missing something here or is this a new glitch. michaelk
I tried a couple times, but I couldn't make a polyline and a hardscape created from that polyline have different perimeters. Can you post an example? mk Quote Link to comment
