Benson Shaw
If you have the Designer product for 12.5.0 the Spotlight features should be available by switching to the Spotlight workspace via the Menu in Tools>Workspace>Spotlight Is that what you are looking for? Post back if that's not it. The final update to v12 is 12.5.3 Download it here: http://www.vectorworks.net/downloads/fundamentals/archived_downloads.php -B Quote Link to comment
ghd
thanks for your attention to my query. looking at the Spotlight Workspace, selecting any icon in the Spotlight Palette (tools) window does not activate the tool. Instead, a window opens stating: ?The plug-in tool ?X? could not be selected. Check to make sure it is in your ?Plug-ins? folder.? Such is the case for any Spotlight tool selected. Within my drawing (dwg) I can select and move any fixture, but I can not place anything new. Four examples are: ?Light Position Obj.vso?, ?Curtain Object.vso?, ?Accessory Insertion Tool.vst? and ?Inst Insertion Tool.vst?. The plug-ins are located inside the plug-ins folder; I can see them, why can?t Vectorworks 12.5.0? i am working on a borrowed computer and do not know the history of the VW installation. could it's provenance be an issue? except for this stumbling block, all seems well.
