PDF file

Is there a way to save a VW9 file as a pdf file? It would be more efficient to send out our dwgs to be printed in this format (as opposed to eps).

You will need a PDF creator to do this. If you are on Macs OS 10, it has a built in PDF writier. Otherwise, you will need Adobe Distiller (part of the Adboe package), or one of the other PDF writers available for alot less.

We only test with the OS 10 built in writer and Adobe's Distiller.

There is also a free PDF Writer available at VectorDepot.

We can't recommend that one because it is pirated software. PDFWriter is a component of the commercial Adobe Acrobat package.

Also, PDF writer has a number of text issues with VectorWorks.
